Projection of Growth Pistachio is a variation within Corine van Voorbergen's Monos, in which one concept is realised in different colours and diameters. A yellow-green field carries faint, curling traces across its surface, the remains of the layered process through which the Dutch artist builds her works on wood. The title frames colour as a forecast rather than a description: green as the sign of something still developing. A thin coat of epoxy seals the pigment and reflects the surroundings, and a hand-polished brass ring closes the 130 cm disc. The work reflects her broader concern with the circle as a form of continuous movement.
