NB 105 encloses a compact volume of upcycled paper and books in a plexiglass case of 19 x 19 x 22 cm. The layered pages are stacked and shifted into an irregular block, their silver-grey edges catching the light. Rather than being cut into fine strips, the paper keeps something of its original form, folded and piled so that the object still recalls the books it came from. The result is a small monument to printed matter, in which an object made for reading becomes an object to be looked at, isolated and protected by its transparent case.
