In Mute (2026), Corine van Voorbergen brings the covered relief of her Mute works back to the circle, the form she associates with eternal movement. A red textile surface, left without epoxy, lies over interlocking spirals that emerge from underneath, so that the idea of continuous motion is given physical relief rather than suggested by gradient or reflection. The monochrome palette removes every distinction except that between raised and recessed areas, which shifts with the light. The title sets this visible energy against silence. Signed and dated by the artist, the 100 cm work is sealed with a hand-polished brass ring.
