At 30 cm, Dew Dusk (2026) is among the most compact formats in Corine van Voorbergen's practice. The counterpart to Dew Dawn, it sets a warm, copper-toned centre against a darkening perimeter, the colour held beneath resin over a textured ground of pigment on wood. The reduced scale concentrates the concerns that run through the Dutch artist's work: the circle as a form of eternal movement, colour as a carrier of feeling, and a surface that reflects its surroundings. A hand-polished brass ring seals the edge. The title refers to moisture gathering at nightfall, a transient state that the work fixes in material.
